Um and I don't know, maybe it's just it's the way it's gonna scramble here over the course of time that every you know, every once in a while a team's gonna gonna get hit pretty hard, but um

Yeah, you like I said, it's just the mo the thing we can do is just take care of our program here and uh, you know, I think at the end of the day the thing that maybe doesn't get talked about as much is how many players have decided to come to our league at the same time.

Now, they're not all of that caliber, but certainly there's been a large infiltration of ri really talented young players from the United States now that have decided to come and I guess some of the players in Canada as well that

you know, wanted to go to the N C double A in the past and weren't gonna come to the C H L are all now coming to the C H L so

On one hand you are you're losing some of the cream of the crop, but you're also gaining um, you know, some really good depth throughout the league and there's been some good fortune for teams on that side of the fence as well.

We're allowed three imports now as of this season coming up.

Uh there's no limit to the American players.

So it's um yeah, we've been able to sign a couple eighteen year old US players, one out of the national development team, Andrew O'Neill, and one out of Sherwood Park, uh, Paul Anderson.

So um yeah, with adding uh obviously we made a trade for Max Kern, one of the the leading scorer of Tri-Cities last year, a very good import player to to join uh Jekyll and Halinka and then uh have been able to add, you know, two pretty impactful eighteen

So it's uh

Whenever you can recruit older players or make deals to bring in elite players like that to your lineup, that uh only makes our team deeper and

And as I alluded to earlier, I think there's lots of potential and I'm pretty optimistic about this group heading into next year.

Oh, they are for sure.

And especially obviously Gunther and and neighbors uh specifically having been guys that were drafted into our program and and developed their whole way through.

But yeah, even when you you win a championship, the guys like Gooley and even Justin Sordeff this year scoring his first NHL goal, it uh yeah, you're really proud of that and uh I think you just you know, when you look back and you reflect on um developing players, like I said, and especially the young guys that

where we're they've started here day one.

It's uh it I guess it reinforces things for you that you're doing things the right way and yeah they're exceptional players but they came through your program and spent a lot of really meaningful years here.

So it uh there's a huge sense of pride whenever I watch those guys play and uh get an opportunity to ever talk to them.

Yeah, I think it does.

I mean there's there's twofold to that.
