Yeah, I mean, anytime you get a centerman, an iceman like that in the lineup, it helps the team significantly.

And, you know, I think a lot of the depth of our group is we're pretty strong through the middle.

And that's, I mean, the line of Holinka, Sotchen, and Hodnet have been very good ever since Hodnet came back after the Christmas break.

Those guys have, you know, most nights have led the way offensively, and they seem to have pretty good chemistry, and they're a threat.

I think there's always the potential I mean as production as you said I mean at this point it's uh you know he's proven that he's one of the top he's top 10 in league scoring so he's one of the top offensive guys in the league his playmaking ability is exceptional um so it's I know I know analytically when you're looking at production and years um for for draft plus one I mean I know he's going to probably be a guy that's going to be popping with a lot of NHL analytic teams and

they're going to be getting extra eyes on him.

So I do know that there's teams out there that have asked me to interview him and chat with him.

So obviously he's on some radars out there to say, I know 100% he's going to get drafted.

I don't know that at this point, but I do think that he's certainly on teams' radars where he's putting himself in the conversation to get lots of looks down the stretch here.

No, I'll find it hard to believe if he doesn't get picked at some point.

I do think kind of the third round is, you know, I'm assuming a point where teams are really going to start to seriously consider it.

But you never know.

You know, I've seen draft plus twos come through before.

I mean, the year that Evans got picked, Riker Evans got picked by Seattle.

They picked him quite early in the second round.

So for a guy that's – and McKenzie has put up good offensive numbers –

um but yeah that one's a tough one to judge i think it's year to year with how the draft crop is how the d are in the nhl draft which i can't speak to this year um i mean obviously i know there's high nd in the draft i don't know what the depth is like from that standpoint so i think those variables will probably play into how high he does get selected but i'll certainly be really surprised if he doesn't get picked this year he's just had too good of a season and put himself on the radar too much

Yeah, it looks a lot different.

I do think that one of the goals kind of heading into the deadline this year was to add more offense to our blue line.

You know, I think it's something down the stretch last year and into the end of that playoff round, it just really felt like we didn't get as much production out of our entire defensive core.
