I do think we had a few guys back there that produced, but not, you know, we needed more depth from an offensive standpoint on our D and on the offensive blue line.

the way Sutherland has been playing.
And, um, you know, Blake Fiddler is a guy that, that plays a good two way style and can produce offensively.
Um, obviously Zemlack has had points where he can still be a guy that can be put on a power play and produce.
And we spoke about McKenzie and, you know, in all honesty, like Lee and Tammo too, have, have had their spots where they've, they've shown they can put some numbers on the board as well.
But, um, yeah, the committee with, with Reese Peterson and when Gower's playing D not forward, he plays forward a fair bit as well as with the injuries.

As a committee, it's a deep group, and we felt we upgraded the necessities of adding more offense back there.
You know, that's a tough one.
I think McCarr's bigger at the end of the day.
But from an offensive standpoint, I mean, you know, DuPont is –
As a young player in our league, he's one of the better younger defensemen from an offensive productivity that I've seen through my time of being around the Western League.
Like he's very exceptional in that, you know, to say at the end of the day, if, you know, when you watch modern defensemen and guys like Hughes and the way that they can transport the puck around the ice and out offense, you know,
I think those categories of players is really going to be similar to what DuPont will be at the next level, just with his ability to skate, his hockey sense around the game.
His puck skills are some of the best I've seen.
Just knocking pucks down, the ability to make plays on his backhand, fit pucks through seams and holes that you don't even know are available.
He's got very exceptional puck skills and hockey IQ that, you know, at the end of the day, the word that comes to mind to describe him is just a very special player.
I'd be very surprised if he wasn't, just in the sense of just seeing some of the new generation of D in the NHL and how much success they can have at the size.
I'd be shocked if he wasn't.
