AT ISSUE ALSO IS MANY OF THESE ARE BEING USED AS MEMORIALS.
do we really want to have all of our benches have a memorial statement?
Because to me it starts getting a little gloomy.
And dedicating it to individuals, it can also
someone can choose a controversial person.
And so I think those would come to council, but are we going to just be expanding the number of park benches without some plan about where these are gonna be?
Do we have areas of the city where we do or don't want to have memorial benches, if that's gonna be what the trend is?
Yeah, it's just something that I think we need to have it as a study session where we get into this type of discussion.
Just that we would bring back the commemorative bench policy for discussion as well with the other.
