I looked at the policy again.

I think that city manager is right that this current proposed naming policy might already cover the logo on the donated object.

So I see that the original policy already include equipment and furnishings.

but now we have added including the use of or display of logos, trademarks, colors, insignia, symbols and branding that identify an organization, business or other entity.

And then this particular here,

is also equipment or furnishing include the use of any logo of branding is subject to the approval of the city council.

So sounds like the current policy

or we already require city council approval for any naming of city building, structural equipment, and furnishing.

It's just we did not clarify.

Naming means a logo which has a name also.

And so this,

I guess clarify that.

This does include a furnishing.

So if the furnishing is donated away as a logo, then it will be subject to approval of the council.
