There are primary elections in four states today, Maine, Nevada, North Dakota, and South Carolina.

They're holding contests for governor as well as local and national seats.

Alaska's primary election isn't until August 18th, but Alaska's lieutenant governor says the state is investigating a retired teacher named Dan Sullivan.

He recently filed to run for the U.S.

Senate as a Republican.

He's competing against Alaska's Republican incumbent senator, who is also named Dan Sullivan.

Alaska Public Media's Liz Ruskin reports the state's lieutenant governor and the incumbent senator claim the challenger is acting in bad faith.

NASA will reveal the next crew of astronauts for the Artemis 3 mission.

This follows the Artemis 2 team that flew around the moon and back this year.
