So I walked into the recruiter's office and I said, I'm gonna enlist, right?

Without my parents knowing.

So I signed the dotted line, you know, complete that paperwork.

When I came home, I said, mommy, I'm going to Fort Jackson, South Carolina.

That was crazy, right?

Because number one, I mentioned to you earlier, right?

So with my first PT test, physical fitness test in the army, I failed the run, did not finish DNF.

That was what's on my scorecard, DNF.

Oh my gosh.

So for my age at that time, I was what, 24?

So I think I had 22 minutes to complete that.

I did not finish.

Two miles.

I never ran in my life.

Just yourself.

To me, it was.

think the very first time um there were a lot of people okay on the same boat all right so it's not so bad you know and then you know the following the following um the next time i think i failed it again but i passed the very last time you know you only gotta pass once right the last time is the best one to pass right yes but you know what to answer your question though how did i how did i finish that how did i you know graduate right
