The Pima County Sheriff's Department revealing Friday it and the FBI were actively inspecting the authenticity of a new message regarding Nancy Guthrie.
13 News in Tucson telling Fox News it received the new note in an email and sent the IP address where it came from to law enforcement.
The station explains it appears the sender used the same type of secure server to hide the IP address as the sender of the initial alleged ransom note it received.
