And Rainier settled the New York case for $40,000 without admitting any wrongdoing.
And only 9,000 of it ever actually left his pocket, which is insane.
And he said the balance was more than he could manage to pay, which was hard to believe given he claimed to be living.
Comfortably off of savings because remember he has a you know $50 million net worth.
But the company had just been a recruitment-driven pyramid sold on the legend of a genius founder, staffed largely by young women in a service of his vision.
And even before Consumers Buyline, Rainier had been building a circle.
His home base was a Clifton Park townhouse he shared with his girlfriend, Karen Utorina, and by the late
1980s, the place had taken on the feel of a commune.
