No.
You can't speak with conviction without preaching to people.
I don't think people in general like to be preached to.
They want to be listened to.
And I think it's important that if I and the government, we get this mandate, that we haven't oversold this mandate.
But also that people understand that I am critical myself of the EU.
I know there are certain things that we need to get.
There are red lines and people need to feel confident that if they give me a yes, that I will keep their concerns in my back pocket and I will fight for them.
And so that's why it's important.
The tactics is obviously going to be a wide range of things you need to get through to people.
But I mean, my way throughout my career as a politician, both when I was in opposition, but I've also done this as prime minister is I do these open meetings with people, these listening meetings with people, where you don't go and just hold huge speeches and tell people how they should feel, what they are really feeling.
And let me just explain to you how the world works.
But you listen to them and you get their excitements, their aspirations, what they hope that this can be.
But you also get their concerns.
And so I will be having these types of conversations in August.
I have conviction for this.
I just need people to understand that, you know, like I said, I have my own red lines on this regard.
I am, you know, at heart, just an Icelander that wants my country the best possible situation.
