You, you know, should pursue it so that you have this deterrent.
On the other hand, to your point, the Strait of Hormuz acts in a sense as like its own deterrent effect.
Over time, though, the impact of that will diminish as new pipelines, new routes are created, as the world transitions, realizing that, hey, maybe we shouldn't base our entire economies on this very volatile geopolitical situation backed by fossil fuels.
Maybe we should transition to renewable energy.
The power of that geographic impact.
advantage will ebb over the years.
That won't be an immediate impact, but that will happen over years.
So that does still argue in favor of the notion that a nuclear weapon could be important for them if they want to persist as a national entity with sovereignty.
You would hope so.
I don't know.
I don't delude myself into thinking that Sagar and Emily represent the Republican base.
I don't think they delude themselves that way either.
But I think the Republican base is overwhelmingly still in favor of the war.
But the piece that is more problematic for Trump politically, I think, is the economic piece.
You know, they can tell themselves all sorts of lies based on Fox News propaganda about how glorious the war is and how great we're doing and how strong our fighters are and how smart President Trump is, blah, blah, blah.
If you watch that channel, it is crazy the amount of propaganda.
And boomers are the core of the Republican base.
For all the talk about the young Republicans, this is a boomer-led party.
So that stuff is still extremely powerful with them.
