look, Israelis, you know, nothing Yahoo at all.
They're not stupid.
They can read a poll.
They see the way that the politics are going.
They're watching what's playing out in democratic primaries right now.
And so there's no doubt they're moving in the direction of, okay, a, you know, any sort of process that requires a vote that requires any sort of democratic input is going to be shaky.
So we need to entrench this thing.
We need to put it outside of politics so that there isn't a public check.
There isn't public accountability and that it's very difficult to,
to disentangle, even if you do get, you know, President AOC or President Abdul El-Sayed in 2028.
So, you know, I think there's no doubt that's the direction they're going in.
And, you know, kudos to the few members who have really spoken out.
The Democratic Party has been pretty good.
They blocked originally the version that had this in the Senate, although this wasn't the only reason they're blocking the NDAA.
And that's my other thing.
I don't know why any Democrat is voting for any NDAA right now, regardless of what's in it, while Trump is waging an illegal and unconstitutional war.
Well, it was very telling in that interview with Representative Adam Smith, because he's fighting with me about this, about like, well, you know, we don't have the leverage that you think and it's probably not going to work and blah, blah, blah.
But he also was like, yeah, but I'm going to vote against it.
I was like, OK, well, are your colleagues going to go along?
