In Congress, you are seeing horrific things happen.

And let me again say that the minimum wage is still $7.25 an hour.

So my question to all of these people who are, you know, like yourselves, you are subscribing to this approach, my question is, why is it that not one single concrete victory can be pointed to at the congressional level?

And also that at that same time, the Genocide Act has actually happened.

Why is it that you don't have a single congressmember saying, you know, the progressives or squad members saying, I'm going to bring forward this bill and, you know, to end all military aid, and I'm going to campaign across the nation to mobilize working-class people?

And that is the main thing, mobilizing working-class people.

is the core component of what we need to do, which is what we don't see the DSA doing.

And I don't agree with you.

I don't agree with you that it's the same thing that they're doing.

No, they're not.

They're not actually mobilizing the working class in the way that we are doing.

They have membership, yes, but they're not actually bringing the mass movements to bear.

And as far as your contention that the Democratic Party is an empty shell, let's be clear.

It is not just about the structure of this thing called the Democratic Party.

It is about actual class forces under capitalism.

And the fundamental question is not even about the Democratic Party and whether that can be reformed.

Yes, that's the question.

But the primary question is,

Can you actually win the kind of victories that we're talking about on the basis of not carrying out an all-out class war back against the billionaire class and their representatives?

That's the question.
