The question is, can they do what's needed in order to fight for the working class and not
on the ire of the democratic establishment?
No, the answer is no.
That is why AOC's quote, AOC was very truthful when she said that if she did what was demanded of her by the working class, that would have caused reputational and relational harm for her among the powers that be.
As far as working people is concerned, your reputations are going to be, you'll be an overnight hero.
Even to this day, I have people coming up to me in grocery stores and saying,
that thank you for fighting for this or that.
But as far as the democratic establishment is concerned, no, they hate me.
But I wear their hate of me as a badge of honor, because for me, it's a confirmation that I'm doing something right.
So fundamentally, the question is, can you actually win the kinds of victories that we can win, we need to win, without going to class war back against the billionaires and their representatives?
No, the answer is no.
Yeah, I think primarily the story here is of textbook sectarianism, which is that they have some personal objections to my approach.
And that is why they have decided not to actually endorse a campaign that is posing the strongest ever challenge to Adam Smith, who is a general among the warmongers.
So I think that is the real question.
And like you said correctly, yeah, it was a close vote.
And as I already said, many DSA members are campaigning alongside us.
So this is really the position that the leadership took.
And in that vote, they made a lot of personalized attacks against me.
One of those attacks was, oh, look, she can't even be bothered to come to our endorsement meeting.
She's out there gallivanting for herself in the Bay Area.
