I got my cycle a little bit late.
Within a year of being on it, I lost my cycle.
I, again, thought that that was great.
I was never told that it's not healthy to not have a cycle.
And when I would go to like my yearly checkup at the gynecologist and say, yeah, you know, I haven't had a period in a year.
Okay, now I haven't had a period in two years.
Now it's been three years.
They're like, oh, that is totally fine.
That's perfectly normal.
And in school, we're not taught about our menstrual cycle.
We're not taught about I didn't even know what the word ovulation meant until I was 22 years old.
We're not taught how our cycle actually works or what the purpose of a cycle is.
You know, you don't know that the only reason you're getting a period is actually because you're ovulating.
And this is this really important part.
It's our fifth vital sign when we're ovulating.
And we don't know that this is an actual sign of health.
And so I thought I was great.
Didn't have a period.
I didn't have to worry about getting pregnant.
Like, I thought it was the greatest thing in the world until I was 21 years old, 21, 22, and I was having really severe gut issues.
