And at the time, I was like, it was debilitating.
Like, I couldn't go to work.
I was struggling to go to classes.

And I had heard an episode, a podcast episode with Dr. Will Cole.
And he was all about gut health and fasting and all these things.
So interesting.
And I literally took every penny in my savings account.
And I was like, I am going to get an appointment with this doctor because he sounds like he can fix me.
Because at this point, I had been to so many doctors for my gut stuff.
The gastroenterologist and all these things and gotten the CT or the ultrasounds and everything.
And they couldn't tell me what was wrong with me.
And so I book a call with him.
So excited about it.
And we are on this consultation and like halfway through it, he's like, oh, by the way, you're not on any medications.
Right.
I was like, no, no.
And then a few minutes go by and I'm like, wait a minute.
I'm on hormonal birth control.
I don't know if that's considered meds because it's like in my arm, you know, I'm like taking a pill or anything.
