My gynecologist told me everything like was safe and normal and all these things.
So I go down this rabbit hole of learning how harmful hormonal birth control can be.
And that's when I'm like, oh, I have to get off of this.
And I haven't had a period.
I'd been on it for six years at that point.
I was 22 at the time.
I knew nothing about my cycle.
I knew nothing about anything.
But I was like, I have to go off of this.
And I don't really know what's going to happen afterwards.
But I just know that I need to start this process of healing.
And when I went off of it, I just started getting curious about like, oh, okay, well now like my period's gonna, well, at first I was getting curious about fertility awareness method because I was like, I need to not get pregnant.
That is very scary to me.
And I was like, how am I going to do that?
And so I stumbled into the world of fertility awareness method.
And when I read Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Tony Weschler, my brain exploded because in this book, she explains like cycle phases everywhere.
