This was kind of truce in society where live and let live.
And of course, there was a Christian culture that was the base.
But there were a lot of sects.
And, you know, when when the settlers came to America, they didn't have the same religious background that, you know, there were, you know, Quakers and different sets of Protestantism.
And there was a lot of I mean, it was the sectarian strife is just as powerful as like, you know, religious strife.
And so I think there's a lack of appreciation.
The left likes to dismiss all this history, all of this philosophical background and act like they're progressive.
They're not progressive.
They're regressive.
They're going backwards.
They're taking us back to the periods of identity based strife that was such havoc on Europe.
So the founders were very appreciative of different cultures, different belief systems, different backgrounds, even to the point where, you know, Jefferson was talking about if you're an atheist, that's fine.
you know, in Virginia, Declaration of Rights, they were debating different religions.
So, I mean, these issues have been philosophically resolved in my mind, how you deal with them and have a peaceful society.
Just the left wants us to take us backwards to where we're
at each other.
Right.
And it kind of reminds me of like the 1619 project that they brought up.
I saw something that E.G.
Caron said, and I'm kind of glad they brought up a counter argument that this country was founded for free whites.
