We certainly are.
But this was just a situation where there was an available player in an age bracket that really, really made sense, and we couldn't pass it up.
And so it was something we acted on and something we were aggressive with.
I didn't hear anything about that Shelley interview.
I haven't heard that at all.
You know, again, I think it goes back to my previous comment.
We're looking to improve the roster.
We're looking to get better.
We're looking to continue to take steps forward.
and adding some offensive talent is essential to that.
Now, I don't necessarily think it's productive for me to advocate one way or another or kind of disclose anything publicly.
I think Patrick knows where we stand, and his understanding and the path we've taken over the last number of years
um, has been something that was obviously communicated to him when he was here last time.
And, and, you know, I think everyone was just in a different place at that time, uh, in terms of what we're, we were looking to accomplish, what he was looking to accomplish.
But, um, you know, as of now, it's, it's, you know, kind of, um, you know, it's again, Patrick Haynes, uh, he is a Blackhawk.
We feel he's a Blackhawk for life.
Um, he knows where, where we stand on it.
And, and, you know, it's, it's,
the player's right to make these tough decisions and decide where he goes and kind of, you know, both professionally and from a family standpoint.
And so we're going to leave him to that decision.
