year in year out it's really about capturing those nice strong resilient long-term returns so in the same vein as the us equity market certainly not extrapolating the 14 return and not expecting that from this year do we think we can still get decent returns over the year of course
It's very difficult to forecast returns over a one-year period that our base case wouldn't be a drawdown, but I think you'll probably see a little bit more unmuted return.
And the range of probabilities over the year, I think, are reasonably wide this year, just particularly given, you know, there's a huge amount of uncertainty around.
And I think the, you know, the...
The Trump administration in particular, and as they roll out that policy framework, it's going to be one of the big spleen factors around
Yeah, of course.
I mean, we're pretty big believers in diversification.
And I think in an ever sort of increasingly uncertain world, we actually think that having really well diversified portfolios is going to be more important as we look forward than it's been in these last couple of years, where to be honest, you could just put it all in the public equity markets and you would have got a stellar return.
I think it's going to be a little bit harder than that.
And so for us, the diversification piece, it's not necessarily going into the underperforming areas, but it's about building a portfolio that has exposure to a range of different return drivers, different assets, different asset classes that...

That's really the sound investment strategy approach as we look forward from here.
But having said that, there's probably a few areas that are worthwhile highlighting where we have seen underperformance, perhaps relative to those broader equity markets.
And we think that there's some interesting things there.
Property markets, one in particular.
So we've had a bit of a cyclical downturn in the property markets, both listed and unlisted over recent years.
And some of that's structural in the sense that, you know, you think of office buildings and the way COVID fast-tracked hybrid working and working from home.
So, you know, there's some sensible things that have come into the property valuations that are real that
