Yeah, things like that.

Yeah, it was a new world for me.

It was something I hadn't seen before.

And people who were getting given cars, like brand new expensive cars, you know, like my first car was an $1,800 Mitsubishi Jogner.

I saw it and I just didn't emulate their behaviour or their appreciation of money at all.

What I saw was a lot of being spoiled.

That's what I saw.

I saw a lot of, and it was young women for me,

whose attitudes, frankly, were really immature when it came to money.

I didn't see their parents doing them any favours.

I thought that is, you are really making your life harder.

And I meet a lot of them now.

Some of them have gone on to do really well financially.

They've had great careers.

Some of them have not.

That was that they have built up a behaviour of expectation of handouts, and it continues into our late 30s.

And I look at that and think that is

what a waste, what a waste, not just of the money, you know, of your life.

So I guess when I saw a lot of people getting given lots of stuff and wearing fancy clothes, they weren't any happier than I was.

They didn't have a better home life than I did.
