You know, we decided in the early years that dad would work and I would be with you guys.
So I really wanted to be as present as possible.
And, you know, there were times where I was so, I was like, I am over this.
Like it was hard.
Yeah, we also struggled a lot financially because we were one income, but it felt really important to do that.
So I really just want to flag that I think a lot of the foundation stuff that we did is because I could be at home with you guys.
And I know not everybody has that opportunity.
So I just really want to speak that to parents.
I also really just want to say that, of course, I say this all the time, we're all doing the best we can with the tools we've got.
And one of the big things with my work is helping adults unpack their stories and
So they can turn up and be the parent they want to be.
And it's not easy.
It takes work.
And I think the things that I've been called out on from you guys sometimes is about being present.
Like it's easy for me to work and get really busy with work, particularly now that you're older.
I reckon, Talsey, when you hit about 15, I was like, right, I'm done now.
I'm done parenting.
I can just go and do it.
And you were like, no, excuse me, I still need you.
And I'm like, really?
