Like I've always just been like, I and that's probably why I worked as like a account a therapist, you know, and just worked with people for a long time.

And of course we have our stories that come from behind us, you know, that often shape who we are.
And and I love that you say that, Edie really is
the curiosity to put down our preconceived ideas or our judgments to kind of know that everybody has a story.

I wanna touch on play.

Um
So as I just shared with you, I I have uh co-created a school and we have a play-based learning school and so we do a lot of our learning through play, you know, which we know the research and science talks about how much that impacts children when they learn through play.
Um, and also I think in my work over the years working with families, you know, I talk about players a lot, as you said, as a form of connection.
So particularly when we're feeling disconnected from our kids.
play is a beautiful way to create that at uh attunement and that attachment.
And also play is the way that children process what life is going uh what's going on.
It's how they process trauma, you know, and I often used to say to parents, if you want to understand what's going on in a child's world, watch them play.
Because you will see, particularly if kids are carrying big stories or there's trauma, they will play out
whatever they need to process because it's a safer way to do it.
