And and I was doing that really beautifully as well.
And there was something about having a daughter when I first had my first um my second child who was a girl, I just it really hit me in the face where I was like, I don't want her to have to carry this.
I don't want her map of being a woman to be based on this.
You just abandon yourself or sacrifice yourself in order to just do the duty of what you have to do.

You know, in reading your book, you just spell it out so beautifully, not just what we carried through our lineage, but just how society holds up that as well.
And, you know, for me
you know, coming to really understanding this probably only in the last, you know, fifteen years or so, e even in early motherhood, I was just still doing that.
What is it that you think wakes women up to go, Am I wanting to do this anymore?

I I I I agree with you totally and I think I see that in my daughters and their friends, their fierceness, their boundaries.
Like I never had boundaries until maybe about 15 years ago, right?
They they're very clear about what it looks like.
And again, I kind of look back and think, maybe it was just the time we were living in.
That was never spoken about.
It wasn't, you know, it was well I know back then when we
Looking at it, that we we didn't perhaps have the tools, the emotional awareness to be having these conversations.
So it's beautiful now that we have the resources, the information, the science, all that kind of stuff to understand it.
And so I I agree with you.
I see this next generation who come in with, I'm not going to play that role that I I need to.
