But I think I wasn't – I think he was like maybe a little bit bombarded by me.
Like a little bit.
I don't think he kind of had the communication like skills to be able to say –
that this wasn't what he wanted because I was just like, we'll just keep this going.
And I think he was trying to tell me in his own way by blocking me every time I tried to hug him or calling me his flatmate or not letting me have a key.
Yeah, no, absolutely.
Yeah, I think I was like, and I think because people early on would say, oh, you guys are just perfect for each other.
And that I sort of wouldn't let go of this narrative that we were.
And then when the director said that, I was like, oh.
And I also, I also, this amazing story.
Melvin writer Chloe Hooper, who's like, you know, she's a brilliant writer.
She was always really kind to me.
Like, she's only like a few years older than me, but much wiser.
And I remember she kind of sat me down and said, listen, if you don't want to have children, that's fine.
But don't spend your childbearing years with someone who might not want them.
And so that kind of really...
woke me up.
And, and, and I've since given that advice to other women.
Cause it's like, cause I wasn't, I was, it's not like I'd lived my life trying to have those things, but at the same time, it was something I was really starting to feel strongly and wonder about.
The years go so fast.
