That's completely fine as long as you understand what's under the hood.
But I think that's a very interesting debate about frameworks.
I think the critique is it should be made a little bit more on abstractions.

And what's funny is this talk follows exactly the arc we often see when we're talking to companies about Landgraf.
It is,
People want to build agents and workflows internally.
Everyone rolls their own.
It becomes hard to kind of manage and coordinate and review code in this context of large organizations.
It can be very helpful to have a standard library or framework that people are using with low-level components that are easily composable.
That's what they build with Roast.
That's effectively what Landgraf is.
And that's why a lot of people like Landgraf.
I actually thought the talk on MCP that I believe it was John Welsh.
It's very good.
He makes a case for a lot of the reason why people actually, for example, enterprises, large companies like Landgraf, which is the fact that
when tool calling got good within Anthropic sometime mid-last year, he actually makes this point explicitly.
So he mentions, okay, so you're in Anthropic, tool calling gets good in mid-2024, everyone's building their own integrations, it becomes complete chaos, and that's actually where MCP came from.
