There's no way I'm signing a contract as a coach without some sort of these guarantees.

Whether it is I can break it and I don't take your payment, but now I'm free to do whatever I want because apparently you can't do that now either, which makes sense.

Well, that I get.

Because you don't want to do it in the middle of the season.

But right.

So now that it's hit this point.

Like, there needs to be some changes, and I'm sure the agents are going to be looking at that as they sign new coaches.

But, I mean, again, like, is that not more of a lesson-talking-Edmonton way of don't make snap decisions?

Yeah, don't just assume it's all going to come together.

And, you know, like...

Edmonton has made a couple snap decisions of this past season, the Jari trade, and now this.

I mean, you can sprinkle a couple others in there, but those two for the most part.

And that's what happens when you're trying to hold something together.

And I think this market knows a little bit about that and how that ends.

Right?

You can't shortcut.

You can't.

It doesn't work.

You're chasing a runaway train that you can't stop.
