You know what always bugged me in Europe, just as we say this, games played?
I love complaining about you.
They count playoffs as games played.
I like that.
I don't.
But to me, looking at it, I want to see the difference because if I score 30 goals in the first half of the year and don't touch the net for the rest of the year in playoffs, it still looks like a pretty good year.
I think we call that, Landon, the Sam Lafferty.

And he comes out of his job in this past season and clearly had a very good year.
It shows that he can work with the young guys and develop them.
And like you said, hold those...
non-negotiables and all of that but like with the new age especially where the Canucks are at at the start of a rebuild you're going to start getting you know a ton of younger talent coming in and yeah you have to develop them but while that's happening you can't stifle them either and overwhelm them with knowledge on the defensive side and all this structure everywhere and
to the point where they can't let their instincts take over.
And that skill that you drafted or you signed or traded for with a young guy just kind of goes to waste because they get lost trying to be so perfect.
And so you bring in another guy that, you know, is very much of the same cloth as Manny that has those non-negotiables.
But once you get over that red line and moving up ice,
like, yeah, there's some things that we want to try and keep into our play, but like go make a play, go find somewhere to someone to take advantage of and create a two-on-one little things like that.
Like you have to keep pushing that.
And because those young guys are going to make a ton of mistakes and it's easy to get frustrated.
And it's like, that's where it's really important for, especially the assistants because they spend so much time with the guys to make
