So it's always great getting together and –

Just having some of those moments.

I think so.

I think we all do to an extent.

A lot of guys are putting their efforts into different grassroots programs around the country.

And now even there's that road to Okotoks, kind of elite baseball playoff scenario that's going on right now this summer.

It's happening right now, actually.

So I think there's always that want to give back, whether it's from the coaching side, whether it's from the,

know the field or donation side but just we had very few canadians i think to look at and look up to when we were growing up in the game for me it was the blue jays and just watching the blue jays themselves and having my favorite players on the team there and you know the 92 and 93 series when they won so when you're growing up and loving the game that way you

have your favorite players, and now there's so many different Canadians that have played in the big leagues and have done so well.

You have the Justin Morneau, Joey Votto, Matt Stairs.

You know, there's those guys that I played with that now this new generation can look up to, and we see them all the time at the Baseball Canada events.

There's so many young players coming through that are doing so well.

and it's really great to actually just come back every time and see how many players there are that are doing what they are doing at the level that they are and thinking about ourselves like oh we we never had these opportunities or didn't have as many as they did or didn't have the the coaching or the opportunities um to kind of learn from other canadians the way that they are so

It's pretty great.

And Baseball Canada does a good job too with Greg Hamilton pulling in some of the Canadians and some of the ex-guys that have played in the big leagues to help mentor and tutor some of these younger players as they're moving through in their career too.

So it's really great that it's expanded as much as it has.

Yeah, I think that's it.

Just the good feel of being in a spot where he is familiar and he knows.

I think with some of the ups and downs that he has been having, some of that familiarity is helpful.
