You want to make sure he is feeling all right, and you want to make sure he's there for the season.

I also didn't watch the entire game, so I'm not sure how he was looking.

I mean, if you're throwing perfect through seven, it's probably holding pretty well.

So, yeah, this might be an old man, fist to the sky type of situation where you just let a guy go and see how the eighth goes, and then you let him go and see how the ninth goes.

I think also knowing that it was not an arm-related issue that he was on the IL-4, it's tougher to swallow knowing that.

He could have just kept going.

Never wanted to hang out.

Just wanted to get away from baseball.

Yeah, basically just getting away, either going home, coming back to Canada if I was away for a few days, sometimes just a little trip nearby, something like that.

But most of the time it was just, let's just get away from the game, not throw a baseball for a little bit.

There was a lot of times I was going into the all-star break, throwing three games in a row or three out of four or something like that.

So it was just a time to unwind, step away from the game and come back fresh.

Yeah, I think it's definitely a real issue.

for sure if he's taking this time off from the games and then also declining to go to the All-Star break.

I think a lot of us were maybe hoping that this All-Star game would revive him a little bit as well, give him some of that carefree fun that we saw in the WBC where he kind of was really going off.

And now, you know, maybe this is what's actually needed, a little bit of a physical break, a little bit of a mental break.

Like I was talking about, that's what I needed all the time.

I just needed a break from baseball.

this might be something that he needs mentally, something that he needs physically, and hopefully he's just coming back to a different Guerrero.
