Yeah, which is why I literally wanted to say, fuck off.

So it was a little overwhelming.

And mum would just show up randomly at events and think that that was not going to cause any concern, you know.

And she'd show up in Hawaii.

And fortunately, my friends and my peers would protect me from that.

They would make sure that she was out of sight and not let me know because it would rattle the way in which I performed.

It would

compromised my preparation.

And so fortunately, I would never really see her until after the event.

So I was very grateful that my friends took on that role and saw the impact that it had on me and did their best to protect me in that environment and at that time.

I believe mum desperately wanted to be a part of my life and to achieve that she would go to extreme lengths such as showing up to events unannounced, such as making connection with my friends, getting their phone number and then calling them to learn more about me, to calling me at random times at Ken's house or at my place in Australia.

There was always just these random conversations at random moments in time that just rambled on.

Yeah.

This is not a quality use of my time and energy.

Had she had other children?
