Well, I think like there are a lot of stories about people deserting social media.

And so you do really kind of wonder, it's like, are enough normal people, enough real actual people using this stuff to make it worth these platforms, you know, worth their while or to make it worth their advertisers while they ban these clipping agencies, then there might not just be anything in people's feeds.

And so it's a strange dynamic, I think.

Well, I will say, the last time I opened Twitter, you have the For You, the algorithmic feed, and you can look at that.

And that's like a never-ending Las Vegas casino party with just crap that I never wanted, but it's there all the time.

And then you go over to the people you're actually following.

And I feel like lately, I think I've got like 2,000 people or something that I'm following.

And it's just a ghost town.

You just have tumbleweeds flowing through there.

And so the people I used to follow in there, I think, have mostly just kind of given up on it.

So I do kind of wonder how much they need this.

It may be more than we might assume.

Let's cross our fingers.

I hope that that's what's happening.

It's a little bit hard to say, but yeah, it feels like the new thing that everybody's doing is they're clipping for the benefit of LLMs.

And so you ask ChatGPT, it's like, what indie rock artist did I listen to?

And it'll say, oh, definitely Geese, because a lot of people online are talking about it.

We really don't.

So there's clipping, and then there's this other thing called, it's basically narrative campaigning, I think.

It's almost too new for this to actually have a real name, but narrative campaigning is what the people I spoke to called it, where it's basically you're commenting.
