I mean, advice is, it's all been said.

I was thinking, I was thinking you might ask me this and I was like, what, what can, can I say that's new?

Anything you can do to regulate your nervous system.

I know that sounds like a joke, but for real, the anxiety is mighty.

The waiting, like waiting in between submissions.

I found for, for, for us, like me asking you not to

send me rejections and then i kind of will come to you for them when i have braced myself because you know depending on the the wrong day of rejection or a bad review can just derail the writing and then it's you know time wasted i'm finding that now because i'm starting to access you know netgalley reviews and goodreads reviews and um

you know, everyone says don't read them and they're right.

And then I, I am a, I call myself a freelance teacher now.

Um, so I'm a substitute teacher.

I'm on a contract right now, but then I can, you know, generally kind of control how much freedom I have and how much time I have.

But I did write two full books while teaching full time.

And that happened in

Largely just because I was ruthless with the time I would create for myself.

I would, I mean, I tend to like go off into the woods for a few days and binge write, as Cheryl Strait calls it.

But I also, you know, would run out on my lunch break and write, you know, a couple of pages out of Starbucks or write something on the subway or just whenever you can.

I dictate in my cards.

Like I'll just say, I'll just start saying my book out loud.

And I, that's a really fast way for me to, to get content and it's a hot mess, but you know, so it takes a lot of editing, but it's, it's a good way to, to when you, when you just don't have time.
