And then I eventually forgave him.
you know after he got help I could see the change and again because I'm a recovering addict too I'm not perfect either I've made mistakes so I empathize and I'm like we're human you know we're flawed and he messed up and he's making amends and he's making it right and I love him and he's my best friend so eventually after maybe five months I took him back and we had many good years after that yeah so you I guess this is hard to maybe reflect on in hindsight but like
It's funny.
Maybe I should say no, but I'm going to say yes because we had –
such a wonderful run.
Like, oh my God.
I mean, we truly were best friends.
We spent half the day just cracking up, laughing our off.
He's a musician, I'm a comedian.
We would make this awesome comedy and music together.
We were so creative.
We just had the most fun life for just many years when we were sober and working a program and keeping our side of the street clean and being rigorously honest and, you know,
forgiving and confronting and walking through our fears.
And when we were working that and just like living a good life, it was incredible.
So incredible that we, you know, whatever, achieved all our goals.
We bought our dream house.
We expanded the family.
Let's have a baby.
That's how like good life was that we, you know,
