Getting the existing users on the platform to understand the value and sort of like all the different value add that the platform can provide to them.
Yeah, they are.
I mean, with their new announcement that they're going to be heading into cryptocurrency with Libra next year, I think they're really just looking for a way to get users to spend more time on their platform.
Jeffrey's had a note out last week that talks about how users are less engaged on Facebook.
Many users are leaving or have been over the last 12 months across several geographies.
Users in the US are spending less time on average on both Facebook and Instagram.
So
Facebook is just really trying to ramp that back up.
And I would think that the thinking would be, you know, the more time consumers are spending on their website, the more money they might spend.
Positively for them, data suggests that, well, it was suggesting that users who are leaving the legacy Facebook platform were leaving to go to Instagram, which at least Facebook still owned.
And so what was interesting about the data that Jeffrey's presented last week was that engagement on Instagram is actually going down as well.
And so I think that Facebook seeing data like that would be worried and that to me would drive a lot of the spend.
Yeah, I think if you're looking to connect with people in terms of like photo share and things like that,
Facebook is the place that you're going to go and do that.
Twitter obviously is a different type of platform.
Snapchat is doing really well with a very younger crowd, but certainly not more generally.
Facebook is the place to go.
I think people just largely are having trouble trusting them right now.
And especially as they're asking for things that are a little more personal, like your financial data, trust is going to be of the utmost importance for them to be able to grow.
Yeah, for sure.
