I think that the focusing on, so if I'm listening to you and the two things I pulled out that I'm like, yes, this is so important.
And for myself, a reminder as well, focusing on your strengths, because yes, we default to trying to fix our weaknesses, but that then means we're not working on our strengths.
And when we're doing something that we're good at.
Oh, it's so motivating.
Exactly right.
And what something has really helped me within that recently is Dalton and I have started, before we go to bed every night, we say one thing that went really well that day.
And it's been this really nice reinforcement of, and also like,
We've spoken about this a lot.
Trying to work out what your strengths are is actually also really hard.
So this has actually been really helpful for that.
And the other thing in listening to you is I think especially that Victoria's Secret example and obviously like we talk so much on the podcast that the way that our body looks is absolutely not at all defining our worth.
But I think that example is very tangible in that these women –
had, like, as we spoke about, Victoria's Secret defines beauty standards.
Well, even now, they don't cast Victoria's Secret based on people's personalities.
Like, that's the modelling industry, right?
So in terms of body image, like in quotation marks, perfection, they had qualified.
Like they did the test, like the casting, they got in, right?
And even though they got through that process, they still did not feel good enough, which is the perfect example of if we continue to wait for other people and external validation to make us feel like we are good enough, we will never get
Like it is literally impossible.
