You know, it's funny because the first term, obviously, my children were both born whenever my father-in-law was in office first term.
And so we didn't have to think about this.
But it has been different this time because they kind of understand what's going on.
It's been fun, though, because we've been able to take them to certain events and expose them to parts of history that I think are really amazing.
And now they'll have a memory of it.
They'll actually have a memory.
of their grandfather as president of the United States.
But, you know, for the two of us, for me and Eric, I think it's been really important to just raise them like normal kids.
I mean, my kids right now are in a very standard summer camp.
My kids, you know, I try to ensure that they play all the same sports and they're in all these different teams and gymnastics and this, that, and the other.
As every other kid, I don't want them treated differently.
I want them
out there making friends, doing normal kid things.
To live in Florida is the greatest because your kids can just basically be outside all the time.
I think that's how a lot of us grew up.
And so we do the best we can.
But look, the inevitable questions come up.
The inevitable, oh, my friend's mom says this about grandpa.
