Happened?

It just felt like I had s I had all of this experience and something to offer and it made me kind of a little bit more unique.

So I went through additional training, um, professional training through through TLC and I was in their um early clinician award program.

of a private practice, uh work with BFRBs and I I joined Helping Minds, which is skin pick and trickstop.

Um, and that's been so wonderful to be able to use this experience of my own BFRB ex experience and knowledge um and being a therapist.

And it's been great to help both myself and others.

Well first I wanted to add, you know, when I was in um

Around the puberty age, I discovered it because my my father um is also

a psychologist.

So he's also a p a parent and a psychologist.

Um and he he discovered it and and pointed it out to me.

But I'm um yeah, so I'm wondering for you, like what what is it like to be both a therapist and a parent of a child um with BFRBs?

And do you ever feel like there's more pressure to to resolve the disorder because of your professional background?

Well, um, from a child perspective, I was

Very grateful that my father was a therapist and a parent and discovered it and realized it.

And I think.

That helped me to discover it early on.
