Has stuck with me.
I learned this, I taught, I learned this like years and years ago when I was little.
Someone taught me about, they called it the think, do, feel train.
But really the idea is we think, then we act, and that is when the feelings often come.
That's fantastic.
It's not usually that, okay, we have the feeling that we're really dying to go for a run or dying to go cook dinner or whatever it might be.
It's usually that once we start doing it, then the feeling comes.
And I have noticed that to be so true for me.
It's like very resistance when I'm transitioning from one thing to the next.
But once I start doing it, you know, 90% of the time, I'm into it.
Now, there are exceptions.
Running...
being one of those where like by you know interval number seven I'm like really I'm supposed to do this again you know and sometimes you know some runs go great and like I'm into it other runs I'm like no I'm a little bit into it and we still have to be um pushing through so for me it's really realizing that often the motivation is going to come after I start so it's not really prerequisite and I try I'm not the greatest at this not to overthink it because I'm a real overthinker yeah
So then I make more of it than it is.
I have to go hyperanalyze.
Why do I not feel like cutting up strawberries right now?
Just go do it, you know?
Yes.
And it builds positive momentum too, because doing one little thing, then I feel more productive and I'm excited to do the next thing and the next thing.
So it's really a lot about momentum, I think.
