You're going to have to work harder at it.
You're going to have to reinforce practices of deep self-compassion or talking gently to yourself or not pushing yourself beyond your capacity.
That's going to feel very weird and take a considerable effort the later you do it, but it can be done.
Yeah.
Yeah, absolutely.
And hey, if you have like an incredible therapist, maybe it won't be as hard.
The brain doesn't learn what's true.
It learns what you repeat.
Therefore, if you start repeating ad nauseum, you know, I love myself, I'm worthy of care and rest, or whatever your personal mantra is, and you align that with your actions, that will start to heal whatever negative messaging you previously had, subconscious or conscious.
So I am recently a member of the Broken Thyroid Club.
And it is autoimmune.
I have the one where it's doing too much.
It's overproducing.
I do.
I have a great medical team, which I think is...
And it's good for my prognosis that I love my medical team.
They're very quick to respond.
And they do view things holistically.
So I'm very privileged in that sense.
But I am still reckoning with the fact that I have to make some lifestyle changes.
