You filter by where you go to school to see if any alumni from your university go there.
I'm sure Christine's going to say that there's great ways to use tools like Handshake, right, to see if there's any openings at Google and to search your alumni at your school, again, to see if there's any connections.
So basically just trying to follow the process that you can check that box off, but then also trying to go outside the process a little bit to see if there's anyone that can really advocate for you.
Here's my advice to everybody listening.
You're about to enter rejection territory, all right?
You're going to get rejected left and right, because that's what happens when you start applying for anything.
And of course, when you start applying for a job and putting yourself out there.
And that's OK.
I want everyone listening to just remember that rejection does not mean never.
It just means not right now.
and it is your job to continue to put yourself out there to cultivate these and kind of build up this network and these contacts for yourself to follow up and to stay in touch but to remember that none of these things are the ends of the world and it's okay and rejection is okay so i want everyone to remember to embrace rejection all right i love that fantastic i would say build relationships
