And I think if you're sitting in a space going, oh, you know, being very flippant about it, I feel it's two things.
One, are you being flippant about it because you're in a position of power, not part of that ethnic group or that often minority group.
And so you're in this position of going, it's not that big a deal, even though you're creating and helping create a culture.
that, you know, not to get super downer about it, but can really help lead to violence against those people and in those groups, as well as like huge stigma and shame.
And this idea that, you know, if we're fetishizing a group, we're saying that we're only viewing them in a sexual lens.
So then everything about them becomes sexual and it really limits, you know, where we can see them in media as well as just like in our social spaces.
And in the same time, this idea of if we're putting a group as non-sexual,
Like we talk about the fact that lots of Asian men are kind of like the lowest group that are looked at in dating apps.
Well, then what does it mean if you're someone who is dating an Asian man?
What does that mean socially?
What does that mean if we're as a society, we've decided this person isn't sexual, isn't attractive, isn't someone that we would be looking towards?
Well, then what are we telling the people that are dating those people?
Yeah.
Yeah.
And I think with the career stuff as well, though, there's still that sort of space of like, again, interrogate.

What does that mean about you?
