Like, and at different times, like someone else might fall into one role at one point.
But in that time, I was like caretaker.
And I think it's just because for some reason I was able to function and that's what my grief looked like.
It doesn't mean that anyone else's grief was wrong, like totally appropriate for everyone to, you know, act the way that they acted, feel the way that they felt.
But I had to do like, I had to do hard things, you know, in those,
in those few weeks that I'd struggle to do now, I think, do you know?
I had to call his partner, you know, the mother of his child to let her know.
I had to ring his cousin in Canada who was like a sister to him, do you know?
And you're waiting and you're hearing these reactions, you know, these screams.
And again, like at that time, I was very present.
Like, I know, I know.
And I'm so sorry.
And you're going to have to come back to us, you know?
Yeah.
So that's what the first kind of couple of hours looked like.
