And I'm, of course, like if I have to sit with that piece and I have obviously in therapy and things.
It's not usually where I always go, it's just not where my mind always goes is the last few moments because I think I feel it when it comes up, do you know?
Like if I'm having a wave of sadness, you'll see me wait and catch the wave, do you know?
Like genuinely, I stop in my tracks and I see it come up and I watch it come back down.
I just kind of allow it, but there was sadness, but definitely anger.
oh loads of it i was just like why are you for real like how the hell is are any of us supposed to do this forever do you know um like why like the questions and it's so funny because i know why do you know but again as a sister you're kind of like why do you know so i have and i just still do i still come in and out of all of them all the time you know i have my own little chats where i'm either giving out or i'm like a poor thing or i felt it all do you know i have felt it all
I think one of the times when I felt the most regretful, it was like only a month before he passed away.
And he messaged me asking, could he borrow?
He actually lived up by me near the end with his partner.
And he was like, can I bring your dog for a walk?
And I was like, yeah, yeah, grab her in the morning.
And he came the next morning and I never, we were asleep or something.
We just never answered the door.
We heard him knocking and we were like, oh, we're going to sleep.
And after the fact, me and my husband were looking at the message and we were like, oh, he was trying his best to cope.
But that time he was getting out to like walk and, you know, cope and to dip into his tools.
And sometimes I do get a pang when I think of that.
I'm like, oh, not because I thought that was going to change the trajectory of what happened, but like.
That was something that he was trying to do to help his mental health.
I'm sure he still went on his runs, but like the fact that he wanted to bring my dog into it and that I, you know, didn't lean into it that day with him.
