access to hospice and nursing homes over the past 20 years.
And that has brought on a lot of scrutiny, actually, from regulators concerned that a lot of these patients aren't actually
They don't actually need the extent of hospice services that are provided.
And so there's some concerns around fraud and abuse.
But when I was thinking about this, hospice has been providing palliative care in nursing homes for a long time.
So I don't want to throw at the baby with the bathwater here.
It's more about...
incorporating palliative care into this continuum with palliative and hospice care and learning from what hospice has already figured out around providing palliative care in the nursing home setting.
