And then the second thing is going back to something I said earlier, there's no such thing as a perfect day. So if you throw out that notion of the perfect day and everything going a certain way or having the right flowers or the right this or the right that, you're going to really live in the moment and be present for that commitment you're making.
And it will be the perfect day because you will have married your person in front of all your loved ones and it will be memorable and magical, even if it isn't perfect.
Well, and it also gives you a great story to tell afterwards, right? Like the best stories are often the things that you didn't plan or that do go a little awry that you can kind of chuckle about down the road. So I say go for the imperfect.
