Well, again, when you're talking about employees who don't punch a card, punch a time card, sometimes it is a fine line between who's eligible for overtime pay. matched

There are certain exemptions with federal law over who needs to be paid for any hours worked above 40 hours. matched

There's a lot of gray area. matched

And so employers do have some room to push back when workers say, hey, I wasn't paid adequately for my time. matched

Companies do argue back. matched

that in certain occupations their employees are not eligible for that overtime pay. matched

So, you know, because there's a lot of gray area, that's one reason there's a lot of litigation. matched

This has been a very big area in employment law, these kinds of wage and hour cases. matched
