I think it's been clear quite recently that these systems are getting very good at doing cyber security analysis and in this particular situation the system was told to solve a cyber security problem, to actually do some hacking.
It just did rather more hacking than had been expected and managed to get out of the test environment.
I think that it's going to require a lot of cooperation to apply these systems as aggressively as possible to help us to fix the vulnerabilities that they're now finding.
