She constantly corrected my grammar, and my brother's grammar, which I'm insanely grateful for now.
My biggest pet peeve is when people say less when they mean fewer.
So my mother, she was critical of appearance and overly concerned about how she appeared to the world.
That was almost like a driving force to her, her not being embarrassed and people not talking badly about her.
She made it about what people were saying about her and that people were talking about her and that I was a bad reflection of her.
