You made tremendous progress on safety and I appreciate the work that the MPTA is doing to restore confidence back into our system.
So our job now is to rebuild that confidence and that trust through stronger presence.
And I've heard that there has been stronger presence of security.
I've personally been to several transit stations, and I have seen better presence.
And that actually helps us with building stronger confidence in our system.
And also, what I would like to see is having
measure around perception.
It's great to have data on safety, but perception matters.
So if we can have perception as a real performance matrix, that will help us bring the riders back with our public transit system.
So it's great to see that we will be delivering and prioritizing better bus as well as restoring that dignity to those who ride our public transportation system, especially shelters.
