I'm sitting right here and I'm watching 10 episodes of Criminal Minds, like whatever it is.
So um sometimes, yeah, it's just sometimes you need comfort.
There are several.
One of the biggest things for me is the inconsistency.
Because I, in my type A brain, and with how disciplined I am with my health and with my life, I feel like, in my mind, if I do all these things, right, I should have some kind of consistency.
And I'm at the point right now where I...
I can find a consistent rhythm for a short period of time and then something shifts and then I'm chasing it again.
And I am exhausted by that, to be really honest.
And it's just, I haven't gotten to the place yet to where I've completely surrendered to the inconsistency.
I wish I could say that I have.
Interesting.
I wish I could say I have, but it's hard for me when my life demands a consistent output.
And I think a lot of people, I mean, whether you have a job like I do that's public facing or you have children who are in constant need of your attention, whatever it may be, our lives demand a certain kind of consistent output.
And when you you can't.
provide that output.
Honestly, I still do, but I also am very depleted when I provide that output sometimes.
Maybe.
Yes, out of safety.
It's to keep myself safe.
I mean, it definitely is a trauma response.
